Diwali Rangoli Lantern — Festival of Lights Arch with Oil Lamp Display

★ IP65 Waterproof ★ 50,000h LED ★ Custom Size & Colour ★ MOQ 1 Set

The LF-093 Diwali Rangoli Lantern recreates the warmth of Diwali, the festival of lights, as an immersive illuminated gateway. A grand arch rises in the form of a rangoli mandala — concentric rings of lotus petals, paisley and geometric patterns built in silk-effect fabric over a steel frame, glowing in warm gold, saffron and orange. The arch's centre panel is a larger mandala medallion that radiates light like the sun, while along its base and flanking wings sit rows of stylised diya oil lamps, each a small glowing lantern with a visible flame-shaped LED. The composition deliberately echoes the rows of real oil lamps that Indians place along doorways and courtyards during Diwali, so the scene feels authentic rather than merely decorative. Weatherproof to IP65 and rated for 50,000 hours, this diwali light display is a respectful, spectacular centrepiece for Indian festivals, temples, community events and international cultural showcases, and it creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere unmatched by conventional decoration.

The arch can be scaled from 4 to 10 metres in width, and the rangoli pattern can follow lotus, paisley, peacock or geometric mandala designs in palettes of gold, saffron, orange, magenta or multicolour. The diya lamps can be arranged in rows, in a large floor mandala, or along a walkway leading to the arch, and each diya can hold a steady, flickering or breathing flame effect. LED programs include steady warm glow, a slow colour cycle, or a choreographed sequence where the lamps light up in waves from the outside inward, echoing the ceremonial lighting of Diwali. Optional features include a sound module with devotional or festive music, a marigold garland trim in light, and a sponsor plaque on the side wings. The scene ships in arch, medallion, wing and diya modules.

Application Scenarios

This diwali light display belongs at Indian cultural festivals, temple celebrations, community halls, university international nights, shopping malls serving Indian communities, and multicultural festival zones worldwide. It is also used as the entrance to Diwali fairgrounds and as the backdrop for stage ceremonies, rangoli competitions and cultural performances, where its authenticity supports the programme's credibility.

Our team ships and installs this piece worldwide, and every order includes engineering drawings, a certified installation plan and on-site technical supervision. Application Guide

The arch and its flanking wings require a level area of about 9 m × 5 m with anchor bolts set to the template. Assembly takes two to three days with a light crane: the arch pillars are erected and braced, the central medallion is lifted into place, then the wings and diya rows are laid out and connected. Each diya has its own low-voltage connector, so rows can be positioned flexibly along pathways or in curved layouts. Electrical connection is a central IP65 distribution box with fused loops per section, an earth-leakage breaker and a dusk sensor; the wave-lighting sequence is pre-programmed at the factory and can be re-timed on site. Weekly checks cover the arch braces, the medallion fixings and the diya connectors; the fabric is cleaned with a soft brush. The diya flame LEDs are replaceable units and a spare kit is supplied. At season's end the diya rows are packed in trays and the arch modules are crated, allowing fast re-setup for the following year's festival of lights.

Educational & Commercial Value

The Diwali Rangoli Lantern offers venues an authentic, respectful way to serve Indian communities and celebrate one of the world's great festivals of light, building goodwill and repeat attendance. Its warm, layered lighting creates an inviting atmosphere that increases dwell time, supports stage and food events, and generates strong photo sharing among community audiences. Educationally, it introduces the symbolism of the rangoli, the diya and the meaning of Diwali as the victory of light over darkness, giving cultural programmes a beautiful teaching exhibit. Commercially, its modular diya system means the same arch can be re-arranged into new layouts each year, and it can also be adapted with different medallions for other festivals, protecting the investment across many seasons.
