LF-077
The LF-077 Lighthouse Lantern turns a maritime icon into a towering night-time light sculpture. Standing 12 metres tall on a broad hexagonal base, the lantern reproduces the classic tapered tower with alternating red and white bands, a black gallery deck and an open lantern room at the top. The tower shell is formed from a welded steel frame covered in weatherproof silk-effect fabric, with internal LED strips running vertically up each band so the whole structure glows evenly from base to crown. Its signature feature is a motorised lamp house whose high-intensity LED beam rotates slowly through 360 degrees, sweeping across the venue exactly like a real lighthouse. The beam intensity and rotation speed are adjustable, from a slow romantic sweep to a faster beacon pulse for events. Fully weatherproof to IP65 and rated for over 50,000 hours of LED life, the Lighthouse Lantern performs reliably outdoors through coastal wind and rain, making it one of the most memorable landmarks in any zoo lights or festival line-up.

The Lighthouse Lantern can be scaled from a 4-metre garden version to the full 12-metre tower, and the band colours can be changed to match your brand or event theme — classic red and white, all-white with gold trim, or a bold candy-stripe multicolour. The lantern room is available as a static glow or with a rotating beam, and the beam colour can be warm white, cool white or a mix of both. You may add a sound module that plays gentle fog-horn or wave effects, or a synchronised light sequence where the beam pulses in time with background music. For venues with height restrictions, a half-tower version that mounts against a wall or cliff backdrop is available. Interior access via a ladder is offered on the largest sizes so that operators can service the lamp house without a crane. The base plinth can be finished with sponsor branding or a welcome sign, and the structure ships in modular sections that fit standard containers.
The Lighthouse Lantern suits waterfront festivals, beachside light trails, zoo lights events, harbour Christmas displays, amusement parks and coastal resort entertainment areas. It is also an effective wayfinding landmark inside large festival grounds, guiding visitors between zones, and works beautifully beside water features where the beam reflects across the surface. Winter holiday and halloween light show productions frequently use it as a nautical centrepiece.
Our team ships and installs this piece worldwide, and every order includes engineering drawings, a certified installation plan and on-site technical supervision. As a custom lanterns specialist from Zigong — the home of Chinese lantern art — we have supplied giant lanterns for sale to theme parks, zoos, shopping malls, city squares and cultural festivals across more than 40 countries since 2002.
Because the tower is tall and narrow, foundation design is the critical first step. We supply a certified anchor plan requiring a reinforced concrete base of roughly 5 m × 5 m with anchor bolts positioned to our drilling template; for soft ground, piling may be recommended by the site engineer. The tower arrives in six stacked sub-assemblies, each hoisted by crane and bolted through flanged joints with marine-grade fasteners. A temporary guide wire and four ground anchors steady the tower during assembly and remain as a safety backstop during storms. The rotating lamp house is pre-balanced at the factory and simply keys onto the top drive unit, which is powered by a low-voltage motor with thermal protection. Electrical work is limited to connecting the base distribution box, which feeds the vertical LED strips and the drive motor; the control panel offers an on/off timer, a dusk sensor input and a manual rotation-speed dial. Weekly checks focus on the drive unit's gearbox temperature, the tension of the fabric panels and the condition of the rotating lamp seals. Before high-wind seasons the four ground anchors should be re-tightened. After the event, the lamp house and LED modules are removed for storage while the galvanised tower can remain standing for up to three seasons with routine fabric replacement.
The rotating beam gives the Lighthouse Lantern an unmistakable point of difference that draws visitors from across a festival site, and its photo appeal drives strong organic social sharing — a rotating beam shot at dusk is a reliable viral moment. For zoos and parks it adds an educational story about maritime navigation and coastal safety, and many operators use the tower as a live wayfinding beacon, cutting signage costs across large grounds. Commercially the sculpture supports sponsored lantern-room branding and can be re-themed with different band colours each season, protecting your investment over many years of events. It also pairs naturally with nautical-themed dining areas and gift shops, lifting dwell time and secondary spend around the display zone.
