LF-083
The LF-083 Warrior Soldier Lantern is a commanding illuminated figures sculpture of an ancient Chinese general in full battle armour. Standing on a low stone-effect plinth, the warrior wears lamellar armour in blue-grey and gold, a crested helmet with a red plume, and a flowing cape that sweeps behind him. One gauntleted hand grips a long sword, and the figure's stern expression is sculpted with the precision of traditional Zigong lantern art. The armour plates are built up in layered silk-effect fabric over a steel frame, with cool blue and warm gold LED channels tracing the metal edges so the armour appears to glow from within. The cape is lit separately in deep red, creating strong contrast and a sense of motion. Fully weatherproof to IP65 and rated for over 50,000 hours, the warrior stands guard at entrances, heritage zones and adventure-themed areas. Its dramatic silhouette and cinematic lighting make it a favourite subject for night photography and a powerful visual anchor for any display.

The warrior can be scaled from 3 to 8 metres, and the armour style can follow Han dynasty lamellar armour, Tang cavalry armour, or a fantasy-adventure design for themed entertainment. The weapon can be a straight jian sword, a curved sabre, a spear or a shield, and the helmet plume can be red, gold or white. LED treatment options include cool-blue edge lighting, warm gold highlights, or a battle-ready red-and-orange glow; the cape colour is fully customisable. Optional features include a mist machine at the base, a sound module with drumbeats and clashing metal, a spotlit pedestal with engraved name plate, and motion-activated lighting that brightens when visitors approach. The figure ships in head, torso, arms, cape and base modules for efficient container transport and on-site assembly.
The Warrior Soldier Lantern suits castle-themed parks, historical exhibition zones, martial-arts cultural events, festival gateways, adventure playgrounds, halloween light show installations and military-themed attractions. It also works well in pairs — two warriors flanking an entrance create a formal, dramatic gate experience. Retail atriums and cinemas have used it to promote historical epics and fantasy releases.
Our team ships and installs this piece worldwide, and every order includes engineering drawings, a certified installation plan and on-site technical supervision. As a custom lanterns specialist from Zigong — the home of Chinese lantern art — we have supplied giant lanterns for sale to theme parks, zoos, shopping malls, city squares and cultural festivals across more than 40 countries since 2002.
The figure needs a level foundation of about 2.2 m × 2.2 m with anchor bolts set to the template; the plinth spreads the load so hard-standing ground is usually sufficient. Assembly takes one to two days: the plinth and legs are installed first, then the torso and cape, followed by the arms and the head with its crested helmet. The sword is fitted last and secured with a locking bracket so it cannot be detached by the public. Electrical connection is a single IP65 base feed with fused, earthed circuits; the armour and cape lighting loops are separate so colours can be balanced independently. A dusk sensor and timer control operation. Weekly checks cover the sword bracket, cape fixings and anchor bolts, and the fabric is cleaned with a soft brush. The sword and helmet plume should be inspected after high-wind days. LED modules are serviceable through zippered panels at the back of the armour, and a spare-panel kit is supplied for fast repairs. At season's end the figure is broken down into its modules, with the head and sword stored in protective crates.
The warrior's dramatic pose and cinematic lighting create a magnetic photo point that drives visitor sharing, and its dual-use as an entrance guard adds practical wayfinding value. Thematically it strengthens historical and adventure zones, supporting storytelling that keeps families engaged longer and increasing dwell time around nearby attractions and food outlets. Educationally, the armour detail offers material for talks on ancient Chinese military history, weaponry and the symbolism of the warrior spirit, which museums and schools can incorporate into guided tours. Its modular build means the figure can be re-finished with new armour colours or weapons for different seasons, sustaining its value across many years of events.
